Project:
MetroCoal Limited is an emerging Australian coal-based energy company focused on projects in the Surat Basin in South East Queensland. MetroCoal’s vision is to build a substantial cleaner energy and coal business.
In conjunction with Villain Designs, 8bits have rebuilt and re-launched the MetroCoal website. The new site features a bold, fresh design created by the team at Villain Designs. Villain also produced the Flash used in the main banner and the images on the home page.
JQuery 'Fancy Box' has been used to magnify various maps & images used throughout the site.
The site is fully (W3C) standards compliant.
The CSS sprites technique has been used for the menu tabs, eliminating the problem of flicker that often plague such complex navigation systems.
